Sushi That Built Its Own Following.
Sushi by Baaska
The Chef
Before there was a restaurant, there was a reputation.
Chef Baaska Tegshbileg spent years perfecting his craft in kitchens across the Twin Cities, building something rarer than a title: a cult following. Sold-out pop-ups. Waitlisted omakase dinners. A signature nigiri platter, finished with caviar, that food writers still talk about.
Now, after years as one of the Twin Cities' most sought-after sushi chefs, Baaska is opening his first restaurant, and it's landing right here, on the ground floor at The Ellory.
Expect the sushi that built his name, plus a fuller menu only a real kitchen can deliver: wagyu fried rice, uni pasta, Japanese-style fried chicken. Fresh. Considered. Worth the wait.
